The Nipple Peak (English for nipple tip ) is a 675 m high mountain in the north of Wiencke Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It rises 1.5 km northeast of the Channel Glacier .
It was discovered during the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery . The mountain was given its descriptive name in 1944 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey .
