Nishina Prize

The Nishina Prize ( Japanese 仁科 記念 賞 , Nishina Kinenshō ) is an annual award for physics awarded by the Nishina Foundation. The award is given to individuals or research groups for extraordinary achievements in atomic physics and its application. Atomic physics is understood to mean the entire spectrum of modern physics. He is also reminiscent of the father of modern Japanese physics, Yoshio Nishina . The laureates will receive a medal, certificate, and prize money of 500,000 yen.
