Nissan Slomiansky ( Hebrew ניסן סלומיאנסקי, born in 1946 in Ramat Gan ) is an Israeli politician of the HaBajit haJehudi .

Life

Slomiansky studied mathematics and physics at Bar-Ilan University . He then studied at the private Jewish Orthodox Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh and was then ordained as a rabbi . He then completed his military service. Slomiansky became a member of the National Religious Party . From 1977 to 1998 he was a member of the Elkana City Council in the occupied West Bank. He has been a member of HaBajit haJehudi since 2009 . Slomiansky was a member of the Knesset from 1996 to 2015 . He is married and has five children.
