Nitro (rapper)

Nitro (* 11. February 1993 in Vicenza as Nicola Albera ), also known as Wilson or de Phil Payne , is an Italian rapper .

Career

At a young age, the rapper successfully took part in various freestyle competitions, and in 2010 he published his first mixtape with the Gioventù Bruciata crew . Under the pseudonym Wilson Kemper , he participated in the group The Villains , which moved between rap, dubstep , electronic music and hardcore . In 2012, Nitro took second place after Ensi in the MTV Spit freestyle competition ; he also joined the Machete crew around Salmo and was featured on the EP Casus Belli by Fabri Fibra . Nitro's debut album Danger was released by Sony in 2014 ; in particular the mixtape Machete Mixtape vol 3 got the rapper (and the crew) a lot of attention this year. In 2015 he released his second album Suicidol , which was accompanied by equally successful singles and a tour.

In 2016 Nitro released a new edition of his second album, Suicidol - Post mortem . A year later the third album No Comment was released , with guest contributions from u. a. Salmo and MadMan , which reached the top of the Italian album charts.
