Gemitaiz (* 4. November 1988 in Rome as Davide De Luca ) is an Italian rapper .

Career

De Luca started working as a rapper around 2000. After experience in the Roman underground scene, he met rapper CaneSecco in 2005, who accepted him into the group Xtreme Team . With the team, Gemitaiz released three albums between 2007 and 2009. He then began to release a series of "street albums", Quelli che vi consiglio , and several mixtapes as a soloist for the independent label Honiro . a. worked with DJ Harsh and MadMan . With the latter he released the EP Detto, fatto in 2012 .

Gemitaiz switched to the Tanta Roba label founded by Guè Pequeno and DJ Harsh , where he released his official debut album L'unico compromesso in 2013 , which immediately reached the top three of the Italian charts. In early 2014, the rapper was charged and convicted of drug possession . His next album Kepler was a collaboration album with MadMan, which was released in 2014 and reached the top of the chart. In 2016, Nonostante tutto followed , with which Gemitaiz also landed a number one album as a soloist.
