It was founded by the two musicians Luke Concannon and John Parker in Leamington Spa . They both know each other from their school days at Trinity Catholic Technology College . In 2004 the band released their debut album, Half These Songs Are About You . Despite the overwhelmingly positive response from the critics, the album fell short of commercial success. Even the single JCB , which was released in June 2005, hardly sold at first. That of Laith BahraniHowever, the award-winning video shot for the song helped it grow in popularity on the internet. The single was then re-released in December 2005, hit the top of the UK charts straight away and sold 81,660 copies in the first week. The song is about childhood memories and a yellow JCB digger. In early 2010 the band broke up.
