Nnamdi Prosper Chinecherem (born July 12, 2002 ) is a Nigerian athlete who specializes in throwing the javelin .

Athletic career

Nnamdi Chinecherem gained his first international experience at the African Youth Games 2018 in Algiers , where he took fifth place with the 700 g spear with a width of 58.71 m. The following year he won the African Youth Championships in Abidjan with a new championship record of 74.71 m. He then took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time , where he won the bronze medal behind the two Kenyans Julius Yego and Alexander Kiprotich with 73.24 m .
