Noé Colín Arvizu (born October 30, 1969 in Querétaro ) is a Mexican opera singer ( bass baritone ).

Life

Colín studied at the Music Academy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico with Enrique Jaso and at the International Opera Studio (IOS) of the Zurich Opera House .

In the course of his musical career, the singer has embodied more than 50 different roles on internationally important stages, including Oroveso in Norma by Bellini at the Vienna Volksoper , Giorgio in I puritani by Bellini at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga or Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti in the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico. He has performed with artists such as Plácido Domingo , Neil Shicoff , Bernd Weikl , Riccardo Chailly and Rolando Villazón .

In 2005 Colín won the international Giovanni Pacini singing competition in the city of Pescia in Italy.
