No. 3 Bomber Group

The No. 3 Bomber Group was an association of the British Royal Air Force , first formed in 1918. After the end of the First World War , the association was dissolved. From 1923 to 1926 the association was set up again. From 1936 to 1967 he was part of the RAF Bomber Command . The group was also involved in the area bombing of German cities ( morale bombing ) during World War II .

Re-formed in 2000, the association was under the RAF Strike Command until its dissolution on April 1, 2006 .
