No. 6 Bomber Group

The No. 6 Bomber Group of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) was a heavy bombers during the Second World War in Europe. The bomber association was active from 1942 to 1945. The bombers operating from airfields in the region Yorkshire , in England from. The unit was subordinate to the British Bomber Command of the Royal Air Force . The unit was also involved in the area bombing of German cities ( morale bombing ). The bomber formation was decommissioned in 1945 after the end of the war.
