No. 4 Bomber Group

The No. 4 Bomber Group was an air combat unit of the British Royal Air Force . The unit was first set up during the First World War . During the Second World War she was a unit of the Royal Air Force Bomber Command. The unit was also involved in the area bombing of German cities ( morale bombing ) during World War II . For example, 1000 bomber raids on Cologne and the bombing of the city of Essen . Furthermore, the unit was involved in the air raids on Hanover , Magdeburg , Stuttgart ,Münster , Osnabrück , Sterkrade , Wanne-Eickel and Bottrop are involved. The unit was decommissioned in 1945.
