No. 7 Bomber Group

The No. 7 Bomber Group of the British Royal Air Force was an air task force, which was first put into service in 1918. After the end of the First World War , the association was dissolved in 1919. In the period from 1923 to 1926 the association was set up again. In the period from 1940 to 1941 (as a training association) and from 1943 to 1945, the unit was part of the RAF Bomber Command . During this period, the unit was also involved in the area bombing of German cities ( morale bombing ) during World War II .
