Wladislaw Alexejewitsch Chadarin ( Russian Владислав Алексеевич Хадарин ; born February 22, 1998 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian snowboarder . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Chadarin has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2012 . In March 2013, he won his first victory in slopestyle at the Italian Rookie Finals in Obereggen . At the 2014 Junior Snowboarding World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he finished 16th in slopestyle. The following year he won again at the Italian Rookie Finals in Obereggen in slopestyle. At the beginning of the 2015/16 season he won the Slopestyle at the Corvatsch Rookie Fest. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , he won the silver medal in slopestyle. In March 2016, he finished sixth in slopestyle and fifth in slopestyle at the 2016 Snowboard Junior World Championships on the Seiser Alm . He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in Moscow in January 2017 . He won his first World Cup victory in the big air competition. At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada , he finished 17th in Big Air and 16th in Slopestyle. In February 2018 he finished 20th in Big Air and 19th in Slopestyle at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . The following year he took 20th place in slopestyle at the World Championships in Park City and won the silver medal in slopestyle at the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk . In the 2019/20 season, he took his second World Cup victory in slopestyle on the Alpe di Siusi and thus finished fifth in the Slopestyle World Cup. In March 2020 he became the Russian champion in slopestyle.
