The NoPhone consists of a plastic disc with the same dimensions and the same appearance as a 5.5- inch smartphone. The price for a simple "device" is around $ 12. There are also other versions, such as a “ selfie ” edition that has a mirror instead of a display .
idea
According to the developers, the idea arose during a visit to the bar when it became apparent that the guests were more concerned with their smartphones than with their fellow human beings. The NoPhone was developed by The NoPhone Team from New York . Crowdfunding was used for financing via the Kickstarter.com website . Required was $ 5,000 ; however, it raised more than $ 18,000 in one month, involving 915 people.
