The Nobelmuseum ( sw .: Nobelmuseet ) is a Swedish museum in Stockholm .

The museum is dedicated to information about the Nobel Prize , Nobel Prize winners from 1901 to the present day, and the life of Nobel Prize founder Alfred Nobel (1833–1896). It is housed together with the Swedish Academy and its noble library in the former building of the Stockholm Stock Exchange , which is located on Stortorget Square in the old town of Stockholm . The museum showed exhibitions on personalities such as Marie Curie , Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill as well as other Nobel Prize winners. The museum opened in spring 2001.

After completion of the planned Nobel Center , the museum is to move into the new building.
