Nokia PC Suite is a software package for managing Nokia phones on computers with the Microsoft Windows operating system . The successor is the Nokia Suite , which does not synchronize with Lotus Notes.
Functions
The following applications can be found in the current version of the PC Suite:
- Nokia PC Sync to synchronize contacts, calendar, notes, e-mails and bookmarks from e-mail programs with your mobile phone
- Nokia Content Copier to backup the phone data to the PC
- Nokia Application Installer to install Java and Symbian software
- Nokia File Manager to transfer files in your own Explorer
- One Touch Access to the phone as a modem to use
- Nokia Music Manager to rip CDs and copy music to the phone
- Nokia Image Store to manage image files
Nokia PC Sync
Nokia PC Sync supports the following email programs :
- Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 (from version 6.85)
- Microsoft Outlook Express / Windows Mail
- Lotus Notes 5.x, 6.x, 7.x and 8.0
- Lotus Organizer 5.x and 6.x
System requirements
- Operating system: Windows 2000 , Windows XP or Windows Vista . The current version 7.0 can no longer be installed under Windows 2000.
- You can connect the mobile phone to the PC via USB data cable , infrared or Bluetooth .
- Bluetooth stacks officially supported by Nokia are those from Microsoft Windows , Toshiba , Widcomm and BlueSoleil
