The Nokia Suite (formerly Nokia Ovi Suite) is a software company Microsoft Mobile for the integration of those mobile devices to the PC . The software synchronizes content between the PC and mobile device, is used for data backup and can establish an Internet connection for the PC via tethering via the mobile device . The predecessor is the Nokia PC Suite , which is being replaced by the Nokia Suite.
Functions
The connection between the mobile device and the PC can be established via a USB cable or Bluetooth . With Nokia Suite, data can be made available on the mobile device and the PC at the same time: for viewing, editing, adding or deleting. The following are supported:
- Music from Nokia Music
- Mobile phone camera photos
- Maps from Nokia Maps
- Received and sent SMS and MMS
- Contacts with Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird
- Calendar entries with Microsoft Outlook
- Notes with Microsoft Outlook
- Bookmarks with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox up to version 11
The software ensures that the data is kept synchronized on both devices . Nokia Suite can perform a full data backup of the mobile device and restore it to the mobile phone. Using tethering , the mobile device can be used as a modem for the PC. You can also update the phone software .
