Nora Foss Al-Jabri (2009)

Nora Foss Al-Jabri (born January 29, 1996 in Gjøvik , Norway ) is a Norwegian singer and a former Norwegian child star.

Nora first attracted attention at the age of eleven when a video of her singing the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen was distributed on the Norwegian video platform snutter.no .

At the age of twelve, Nora took part in the Norwegian talent show Norsker Talenter in 2008 with the song Somewhere over the rainbow . She was then invited to the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009 with the same song .

She released her first studio album in 2011 under the title Nora Foss Al-Jabri .

In 2012 she took part in the Melodi Grand Prix , the Norwegian preliminary decision of the Eurovision Song Contest . In 2014 she won the Norwegian music show Stjernekamp .
