Stjernekamp

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stjernekamp is a Norwegian music television program that has been broadcast on the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) since 2012 . Well-known singers who fight for victory in various musical genres take part in it. The show was adapted by the Swedish broadcaster TV4 , where it is broadcast under the name Stjärnornas stjärna .

procedure

Ten singers take part in each season. In the ten programs, which are spread over ten weeks, they compete against each other in different genres . These genres change from year to year and include areas such as rock music , joik , opera or hip-hop . From the seventh week, when only a few singers remain, the participants sing two genres. In the finale, the two remaining singers perform three songs. One of them is a song featured in the past nine shows. Another is a new contribution written by the singer himself. The final song is the so-called final song, which is a cover version of a song that has not yet been used.

There is a jury consisting of three people. Initially, two of the members stayed the same over a season. The third person was a musician who works in the genre of the week. For the season in autumn 2020, the composition was changed so that only one permanent jury member remained. The winners are not determined by the jury, but by the audience through a vote via SMS.
