Nora Noé

Nora Noé , bourgeois Liselotte Jung (* 1952 in Mannheim in the Jungbusch district ) is a German writer.

Life

Nora Noé studied literature, linguistics and medieval studies, as well as fine arts and education. She worked as a teacher in Germany and Maine (USA). She then headed the cultural department at the Volkshochschule Karlsruhe for 20 years before setting up as a freelance writer. She toured large parts of the world, Tanzania, Nigeria, Benin, Zanzibar, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Indonesia, China, Soviet Union, Albania, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Belize and almost all western and central European countries. In part, she combined the trips with humanitarian missions. For example, she worked with the Maasai and Mayan Indians. From 1993 to 2002 she was married to the director and acting manager Lothar Trautmann . In 2009 she married the Mexican liberation theologian Emilio Robles González, who died in 2018. The writer lives in Mannheim, Eichstätt and on the Mexican Pacific.
