Norbert Frühauf

Norbert Frühauf (born October 17, 1958 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( AfD , formerly: CDU , Rule of Law Party and Center ).

Life

Frühauf has been working as a lawyer since 1993 and was a member of the CDU until July 2000. He was the local association chairman of Billstedt / Horn and a member of the Hamburg-Mitte district assembly . After moving to the Rule of Law Party, he was its parliamentary group leader in the Hamburg Parliament from 2001 to 2004 . After Ronald Schill was removed from the office of state chairman, Frühauf became provisional state chairman. From the beginning of 2004 to 2005 he was deputy state chairman in Hamburg. In 2005 he resigned with the entire state board under Hagen Riemann ; this announced the dissolution of the regional association. In 2006 he joined the German Center Party and acted there alongside Dirk Nockemann as spokesman for the Hamburg regional association. After founding the Alternative für Deutschland, he joined it and is the treasurer of the Hamburg-Mitte district association. In the district assembly elections on May 25, 2014, he was elected to the district assembly Hamburg-Mitte. He has been chairman of the AfD parliamentary group there since May 2017.
