Norbert Geiger

Norbert Geiger (* 1962 in Munich ) is a German legal scholar and economist . Since 2003 he has been a professor at Biberach University of Applied Sciences in the fields of real estate law, finance and economics.

Life

Geiger initially studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Augsburg . He then worked as a lawyer specializing in real estate law , business law and enforcement law. In 1990 he became involved with the work The role of monetary policy in a concept of state global control - a critical appraisal of the Bundesbank law from a Keynesian and monetarist point of view. in Augsburg for Dr. iur. did his doctorate and then worked in the credit department of a Munich bank. He also worked as an authorized signatory and division manager at various companies. After studying business administration and economics at the University of Hagen Geiger was working globalization, integration and efficient fiscal policy in Europe in Hagen for Dr. rer. pole. PhD.

In 2002 Geiger became a lecturer at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences and in the 2003 winter semester also took over a professorship in the business administration department at the Biberach University of Applied Sciences for the fields of real estate law, finance and economics. He is also involved as a director of studies for the MBA training and became dean of the Faculty of Business Administration (construction and real estate) in the 2013 winter semester.

Norbert Geiger is co-editor of the 768-page standard work Internationales Immobilienmanagement .
