Norbert Rollinger

Norbert Rollinger (born February 28, 1964 ) is a Luxembourg insurance manager.

Life

Norbert Rollinger studied law and business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . There he became a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Aenania Munich in the CV in 1985 . In 1990 he was at the University of Giessen with the work duties of disclosure on stock market transactions to Dr. iur. PhD. In 1990 he began his professional career at the management consultancy McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf and Cologne. In 1995 he switched to DBV-Winterthur Insurance . In 1999 he became director of private customer business with responsibility for motor, private property, liability and accident insurance in the French insurance group AXA .

In 2005, Rollinger became a board member for composite insurance at Assicurazioni Generali in Munich and, since 2008, at the Hamburg Volksfürsorge insurance group. In 2009 he was appointed to the board of directors of R + V Versicherung . With effect from January 1, 2017, Norbert Rollinger was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management of R + V Versicherung AG. He is the successor to Friedrich Caspers , who retired at the end of 2016 for reasons of age.
