Norbert Sell

Norbert Sell is a former German basketball player .

Life

Sell ​​played at club level for the BSG AdW Berlin, the basketball series champion of the German Democratic Republic in the late 1970s and 1980s. He was named GDR basketball player of the year in 1982 and 1989. With the team he took part in the European Champions Cup in the 1990/91 game year , but lost there in the first round against the Luxembourg representative BBC US Hiefenech Heffingen, although the Berliners had a 98-92 win in the first leg, plus Sell 23 points contributed. Sell ​​received 62 drafts into the national team of the GDR during his playing days.

In later years Sell took part in world championships as a member of the German national team, including in the age group over 50.
