The Scheibenkaser , also the Scheibenalm , is an alpine pasture on the Untersberg . It is located in the community-free area of Schellenberger Forst in the Berchtesgadener Land district .

The Kaser is under monument protection and is registered under the number D-1-72-124-35 in the Bavarian monument list.

Building description

The Scheibenkaser is a single-storey, combed block building with a flat gable roof , field stone base and wood shingling . The stable part is solid and plastered. On May 26, 1827, the Scheibenkaser was destroyed by an avalanche; today's hut was built in 1947.

Todays use

The Scheibenalm is still used for agriculture today, but the Scheibenkaser is not served.

The Scheibenkaser is located southeast under the Berchtesgadener Hochthron at an altitude of 1435  m above sea level. NHN .
