The Yugoslav Boro Jovanović prevailed in the final with a five-set win (6: 2, 2: 6, 10: 8, 3: 6, 6: 0) against his compatriot Nikola Pilić . In the match for third place, Romanian Ion Țiriac defeated Brazilian Ivo Ribeiro in three sets.
