North and south

The magazine Nord und Süd was founded in 1877 by the writer and publicist Paul Lindau in Breslau and later continued in Berlin . It was a literary magazine with international topics. In 1909, the magazine Morgen, published by Werner Sombart and Richard Strauss and with the help of Hugo von Hofmannsthal , went to the north and south .

In 1920 the magazine had to stop its publication. The then publisher Ludwig Stein tried to revive the magazine from 1927 to 1930, but in 1930 it finally disappeared from the market.
