criticism
- Regarding the novel Witwerverbremse (2013): “This is a bad novel about the existential crisis of today's people who have not learned to experience the beauty and depth of life as such - and to enjoy it. So the desperate people at the turn of the last century who like to be grilled by their loved ones. "
- Regarding the novel Das Rascheln des Glücks (2014): “This aesthetic of incompetence, which Zwißler confidently develops, paints a picture of the state of an authority that we all know well enough. Since he works fictitiously as a novelist, he can afford to name the people (...) And he does that with pleasure. (...) This overall document of the inability and corruption that has usurped the anti-corruption office remains strangely rigid (...) and covered by the quiet kitsch of fake relationships (...). "
- The Schweinfurter Tagblatt about black ice : “This playful, ironically distant tone runs through all the stories. They were created over 25 years (...). "
- About the collection of stories Blitzeis : “These 21 pieces (...) are put together in the book as if they were written in a year; they are (...) like one piece. (...) In any case, the pieces are wonderful to read because they are permeated with a merciless cheerfulness. "
