Northern Villages
Norddörfer was the name of a municipality on the island of Sylt in the Tondern district (from October 19, 1920, Südtondern district ) in the Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein .

The community comprised the area of the island of Sylt north of Westerland and south of List .
Area and population
On December 1, 1905, the community had 394 inhabitants who lived in an area of 15.14 km 2 .

The places in the municipality of Norddörfer were Braderup , Kampen (Sylt) and Wenningstedt .
history
On June 27, 1871, the municipality of Norddörfer was re-established through the merger of the towns of Braderup, Kampen and Wenningstedt known as Sylt Norddörfer .
On March 21, 1927, the Kampen community was re-established by separating from the Norddörfer community.
Finally, the remainder of the community was renamed Wenningstedt on July 1, 1927 .
Others
The name "Norddörfer" is still used today in the names of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Norddörfer and the sports club SC Norddörfer.
