The Nordoel Mineralölhandelsgesellschaft mbH is a medium-sized , German petroleum company headquartered in Lübeck .

Nordoel was founded in Lübeck in 1965 and supplies mineral oil products such as heating oil, fuels and lubricants to industry and bulk buyers , but also to private consumers. In the 1970s, Nordoel was bought by Hermann Lother + Co. , which has since operated a large part of its petrol station network under the brand name Nordoel . The 50 free petrol stations are mainly in Schleswig-Holstein .

As a brand partner of Total SA , Nordoel also supplies thermoultra and thermoplus heating oil , the house brands of the Total group, in addition to the usual heating oil . In addition to fuel, natural gas and ethanol are also available at some filling stations .
