Nordstrasse 1, 2, 4 Weinbergstrasse 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24 is the name of a listed street in Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located north of the Weißenfels train station . The listed buildings are on the north and south sides of Weinbergstrasse, onto which Nordstrasse joins from the north. The houses on Nordstrasse in the confluence area are also part of the monument. The for memorials associated factory plant INTEX Weissenfels is also recognized as a single monument.

Architecture and history

The buildings in the monument area were built around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. For the most part, these are elaborately designed residential buildings . They are built as brick buildings, some are plastered and some have half-timbered elements . The house Weinbergstraße 20 is at the bay window with a glass in the Art Nouveau provided.

In the local register of monuments , the street is listed as a monument area under registration number 094 15441.

The houses in Weinbergstrasse 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 are seen as defining the cityscape, they shape the panorama of the Saal in Weißenfelser Neustadt. In the past, at least until 1994, the houses on Nordstrasse 1, 2, 4 were not yet part of the monument area.
