Norheimer Dellchen

Norheimer Dellchen is the name of a three-hectare vineyard in the municipality of Norheim ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).

Location, climate and soil

The vineyard in the Nahe valley is part of the Burgweg major location in the Nahe wine-growing region .

The Dellchen borders immediately to the east of the Norheimer Kirschheck and is located directly above the L235 and the Nahe between Norheim and Niederhausen . The rock forms hollows here, or "Dellchen" which give the location its name. The steep location consists of schisty and volcanic rock and faces south. It is Riesling grown.

Classification and ownership

The Norheimer Dellchen is a large VDP location . The wineries Hermann Dönnhoff , Jakob Schneider and Mathern are wealthy in Dellchen .
