Norman Anderson
Norman Anderson ( Norman Frederick Anderson; born March 17, 1902 in Barre , Vermont , † March 7, 1978 in Los Angeles ) was an American shot putter .
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was fifth with 14.29 m.
Starting for the University of Southern California , he became NCAA champion in 1923 . He set his personal best of 14.83 m on June 13 in Cambridge .
