Norman Johnson

Norman Johnson ( November 12, 1930 - July 13, 2017 ) was an American mathematician . He received his PhD in 1966 from the University of Toronto at HSM Coxeter ( The theory of uniform polytopes and honeycombs ). He was a professor of mathematics at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts .

Johnson listed the Johnson Solids in 1966 , 92 convex non-uniform polytopes with regular sides. In 1969, Victor Zalgaller proved its completeness, which Johnson had suspected.
