The North Bay (English for north bay ) is the northern of the three branches of Prince Olav Harbor on the north coast of South Georgia . The entrance to this bay is limited to the northeast by Fine Point and to the southwest by Pig Point .
The descriptive naming probably goes back to scientists of the British Discovery Investigations , who mapped the Prince Olav Harbor in 1929.
