The Fine Point ( English for fine headland ) is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located west of Sheer Point on the north bank of Prince Olav Harbor and represents the northeast boundary of the entrance to North Bay .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it between 1929 and 1930 and gave it its descriptive name.
