Kina Swidén (born May 11, 1976 ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Swidén, who started for the Piteå Elit , ran in Hudiksvall for the first time in January 1997 in the Continental Cup and finished 11th in the 5 km freestyle. She made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in March 1999 in Falun , which she finished in 59th place over 15 km classically. In November 2004 she got her first and only World Cup points with the 29th place in the 10 km freestyle in Kuusamo . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 2005 , she achieved 36th place in the 10 km freestyle and 33rd place in the skiathlon . In 2004 and 2005 she was Swedish champion with Lina Andersson and Emelie Öhrstig with the relay of Piteå Elit. In her last active season 2005/06 she came in the Scandinavian Cup five times in the top ten. She took third place in Haanja over 5 km freestyle and in Nes in the skiathlon and thus achieved fourth place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. She completed her 27th and last individual World Cup race in March 2006 in Oslo , which she finished in 34th place over 30 km freestyle. In addition, Swidén took part in FIS races from 1997 to 2006 . She got two wins.
