The North West River is a 6.5 km long river in the east of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador belonging to the sub-province of Labrador .

River course

The North West River forms the outflow from Grand Lake to Lake Melville . He leaves it at its eastern end. The water flows over the approximately one kilometer long The Rapids into the 4.5 km long Little Lake . Between the two places North West River in the north and Sheshatshui in the south, the water flows again over a distance of about one kilometer into The Bight on the southwest shore of Lake Melville.
