The Norwegian Sawmill Museum ( Norwegian Norsk Sagbruksmuseum ) is a museum in Spillum , south of Namsos in Fylke Trøndelag .

The museum was opened in 1991 in the disused sawmill Spillum Dampsag & Høvleri and has the status of a technical-industrial cultural monument . Along with Norveg , Namdalsmuseet and Nord-Trøndelag Fylkesgalleri, it is one of the four departments of the Namdalen regional museum Museet Midt IKS . The Norwegian Sawmill Museum has a staff of 11 employees. In addition to the historic sawmill, the facility also includes the listed ship MB Hauka and a collection of furnishings from sawmills in large parts of the country.
