Administration and history

Nossa Senhora do Pranto ("Our Lady of Lamentation") is a parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Ferreira do Zêzere , in the Santarém district . It was created in the course of the administrative reorganization in Portugal in 2013 by merging the previous municipalities of Dornes and Paio Mendes .

The seat of the municipality is the locality Frazoeira , in the former municipality Dornes.
