The Not Fucking Around Coalition ( NFAC ) is an armed African American militia based in the United States. She denies any connection to the Black Panther Party or to the Black Lives Matter movement .

Background and organization

John Jay Fitzgerald Johnson, known as Grand Master Jay, claims the leadership of this group. He claimed that the NFAC was made up of ex military shooters. Johnson, who ran as a non-party candidate in the 2016 presidential election, stated: "We are a Black militia. We aren't protesters, we aren't demonstrators. We don't come to sing, we don't come to chant. That's not what we do. "

activities

NFAC members first appeared in public on May 12, 2020. They protested near Brunswick, Georgia , over the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Some regional media assigned the group to the "Black Panthers" movement.

Johnson stated that Rayshard Brooks' sister asked for assistance. The NFAC escorted her to a meeting in downtown Atlanta in late June.

On July 4, a group of 100 or 200 mostly armed NFAC members moved to Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta , Georgia . They demanded the removal of the relief depicting three Confederate figures . The Stone Mountain Memorial Association responsible for the park described the protesters as peaceful.

On July 25, NFAC members gathered in Louisville, Kentucky , to protest the inaction of the authorities in investigating the officers involved in the Breonna Taylor death . About 50 armed Three Percenters held a counter-demonstration. Both groups were separated by the Louisville police force. Three NFAC members were injured when gunfire was accidentally fired from a protester.
