Noureddine Sefiani

Noureddine Sefiani ( Arabic نور الدين السفياني, DMG Nūr ad-Dīn as-Sufyānī ; * The thirtieth December 1947 in Salé ) is a Moroccan diplomat in retirement . He is married and has three children.

Career

In 1968 he graduated in Law from. From 1969 to 1970 he studied diplomacy at Columbia University in New York City . From 1975 to 1976 he studied public administration at the Ecole nationale d'administration publique à Rabat

From 1971 to 1973 he was first class delegation secretary next to the UN headquarters . In 1974 and from 1976 to 1977 he was the office manager of the Moroccan Foreign Minister. From 1977 to 1978 he headed the development cooperation department . From 1978 to 1982 he was assistant to the head of the political department. From 1982 to 1985 he was Counselor in London . In 1986 he was envoy and ministerial plénipotentiaire in Seoul ( South Korea ). From 1987 to 1993 he was envoy and ministre plénipotentiaire next to the UN headquarters . Where he replaced Rachid Lahlou, who had resigned on the budget committee, in November 1985. From 1994 to 1996 he was employed in Rabat. From 1996 to 2000 he was ambassador in Athens, at the same time he was accredited in Nicosia from 2000 . From 2001 to 2005 he headed the Asia and Oceania department. From 2006 to May 29, 2009 he was ambassador to Moscow .
