Novi Marof is a town and municipality in Varaždin County in Croatia .

Novi Marof is about 200  m. i. J. in the south of Varaždin County . The city center lies on a plain, through which the Bednja brook flows and is surrounded by hilly regions, namely the Ivanščica , a part of the Hrvatsko Zagorje in the west and the Kalničko prigorje in the east and south.

Varaždin is about 16 km north and Zagreb about 48 km southwest. The A4 motorway runs past the city and can be accessed via the Novi Marof junction .
