The LG U + Cup 3-Cushion Masters was a carom invitation tournament in the three cushion discipline . It was the third tournament since 2015. With € 180,000 in prize money, it is the most highly endowed three-cushion tournament in the world. Eight players from all over the world are invited according to the world rankings, whereby only one participant per country is eligible to play. There are also eight participants from South Korea.

The participants were drawn into four groups (A – D) of four players each. It was played in round robin mode. A draw was possible in the group stage. The group winners and the runners-up got into the knockout round. Third and fourth places were eliminated. In the knockout round, overtime was played in the event of a tie. The whole tournament was played up to 40 points. The times given are local time (CEST +7). The shot clock was set to 40 seconds throughout the tournament .
