Prize money

The total prize money increased by almost 50% from 110 to 160 million won (KRW) compared to the previous year. The distribution of the prize money in favor of the second and third place winners was better / fairer.

The participants were divided into four groups (A – D) of four players each. It was played to 40 points in round robin mode. The first in the group made it to the semi-finals of the finals. There was then also played on 40 points in the knockout system . There were two match billiards available that were played at the same time. Follow-ups are allowed throughout the tournament. In the knockout games, there was an extra time in the event of a tie.
