The Lausanne Billiard Masters is a Karambolageturnier in the discipline three cushion the 2013 for the first time in Lausanne , Switzerland is discharged.
history
In the summer of 2011, the Swiss Billiards Association, represented by Diane Wild from the CEB, announced that there will be a new invitation tournament in the UMB's game calendar from 2013. Six of the best players plus two wildcard players from eight nations and two Swiss are invited to the tournament. The tournament is to be held annually. It was played for the first time from March 15 to 17, 2013 in the Casino de Montbenon. The second tournament took place from November 21 to 23, 2014.
The tournament was initially supported by the Belgian pool table manufacturer Gabriels-Billards and the French Internet billiard TV provider Kozoom , which broadcast live on the Internet, but for a fee. The Korean billiards manufacturer "Min" has been supporting the tournament since 2015, replacing the Gabriels company.

At the time of the announcement in summer 2011, the four highest-placed players in the world rankings were invited. Marco Zanetti and Martin Horn were also nominated. Surprisingly, number 5 at the time, Daniel Sánchez , was not invited.
