Tayfun Taşdemir (born November 5, 1975 ) is a professional Turkish carom player and world champion in the three-cushion discipline .

Career

After Semih Saygıner , Taşdemir is considered the most successful Turkish player in three cushion . With him he has twice won the three-cushion world championship for national teams . He succeeded for the third time in 2011 with Lütfi Çenet . He won the first individual tournament of the three-cushion World Cup in Vietnam in August 2015 , before Taşdemir had earned several second and third placements. This enabled him to jump into the top 12 in the world rankings.

With Ravensburger BC , Taşdemir became champion of the 2nd Bundesliga three- cushion in 2013 and was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga three-cushion . In the 2014/15 season he was German Bundesliga champion with Ravensburger BC. He has been playing for BC Stuttgart 1891 since 2018.

At the three-cushion World Cup in 2013 in Antwerp , Belgium , he made it to the quarter-finals, but failed there because of Dick Jaspers from the Netherlands.
