Jean van Erp (born December 20, 1973 in Heeswijk-Dinther , Netherlands ) is a Dutch carom player in the three -cushion discipline .

He started his career in his parents' cafe. Inspired by his father Jan, he played an average of 1 in the free game at the age of eight . First, he denied free-game matches, but qualified for national selection soon Games and entered in 1993 in the three-band on the match pool at.
Career
Van Erp played in a three-cushion World Cup for the first time in October 1996 . In October 1999 he reached the quarter-finals in Bussum , where he lost to the Italian grandmaster Marco Zanetti . He achieved his greatest success on February 21, 2016 in Viersen when he won the three-cushion world championship for national teams together with Dick Jaspers . A year later, again with Jaspers, they were third.
Private
Jean currently lives in Heeswijk, is married, has two daughters and, in addition to his billiards career, also works full-time at the farm in 's-Hertogenbosch.
