The three-cushion world championship for national teams in 1993 was the 7th edition of this tournament, which has been held annually since 1981 in the three- cushion version of billiards . It took place from February 4th to 7th, 1993 in Viersen .

Game mode

12 teams took part in the tournament. Each team consisted of two players. The game was played in 4 groups. In the groups, each player played against both opponents. The four group winners reached the semifinals.

The whole tournament was played with 2 winning sets. Germany became world champions for the first time. In the preliminary round against Peru and in the semifinals against Japan it was very close. Germany moved into the final against Japan because of the better set ratio of 6: 5.

In the event of a tie, the following shall apply:
