Murat Naci Çoklu (born August 3, 1974 ) is a Turkish carambola player and European champion, mainly in the three-cushion discipline .

Career

After the Turkish billiard scene was dominated by the exceptional talent Semih Saygıner in the 1990s , he also played in the art kick , and the young talents Çoklu and Tayfun Taşdemir grew up in the new millennium . After disputes with the chairman of the Turkish billiards association, Saygıner withdrew from both national and international tournaments and thus paved the way for the “Turkish dream team” Çoklu / Tasdemir. For the next decade, Çoklu / Tasdemir contested the international three-band scene almost alone from a Turkish perspective. At the three-cushion world championship for national teams in 2010, in a team with Adnan Yüksel , he won the gold medal for the first time. In the following year again, since then with Tasdemir. Çoklu has so far won two individual tournaments at the three-cushion World Cup.

Since the league game widespread in Western Europe is unknown in Turkey, Çoklu has to earn his living at various clubs outside of Turkey. He played for the first division club Ravensburger BC , among others . From the 2017/18 season he will play for BC Stuttgart 1891 . Already in 2004, he was in front of Martin Horn , three-band European champion .
